Job description

A welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking an enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate languages specialist who enjoys bringing Spanish to life in the classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of language and culture while supporting students of mixed abilities to achieve their potential.

The school prides itself on a supportive leadership team, a collaborative staff culture, and well-behaved pupils who are keen to learn. The MFL department is well-resourced and values creativity, consistency, and strong subject knowledge.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for learning

  • Be confident planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

  • Be committed to supporting pupil progress and wider school life
