SEND Teaching Assistant – SG12 Area

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the SG12 (Ware, Hertfordshire) area.

About the Role

As a SEND TA, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs and disabilities, supporting their learning, development, and emotional wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

  • Support students with communication, social, and behavioural needs

  • Help create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment

  • Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred)

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
