SEND Teaching Assistant

If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Poole and make a meaningful impact every day!

 

The Role:

You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 3-19 years old, with various complex needs such as Physical Disabilities, Speech, Language and Communication needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, general learning difficulties, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

This school offers exceptional facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, modern sports hall, fitness gym, multi-sensory room, woodland trail, and creative arts spaces including a drama studio, adapted music room, and media suite, to aid in the incredible support the students need!

 

Who We Are Looking For:

  • SEND experience in or out of an educational setting
  • A patient, resilient, innovative and caring individual with a compassionate approach to supporting children
  • Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
