We are urgently recruiting Specialist Teaching Assistants to work across education settings in Lowestoft, Suffolk, with immediate starts available.

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence – essential (non-negotiable)
    You must be able to travel between sites and work flexibly across the local area.
  • Immediate availability and commitment to full-time hours.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker, ideally within SEN, SEMH, or specialist settings.
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners with a range of additional needs.
  • Confidence in building positive, professional relationships with pupils and staff.

Fast-Track Clearance

If you already hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only) on the Update Service, we can fast-track your clearance and get you started as soon as possible.

Your Role Will Include

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
  • Supporting students both in and out of the classroom.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment.
  • Working closely with teachers, SEN teams, and external professionals to deliver tailored support.
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and emotional regulation in learners.
