SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing essential support in schools across Hertfordshire.
This is a flexible role where you will have the opportunity to work in different educational settings, offering both variety and valuable experience.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing individual and group assistance to students, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
This role is perfect for individuals who are adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting children’s educational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
- Supporting individual pupils or groups of pupils with their learning.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
- Preparing and organising classroom materials and resources.
- Supervising students during activities, break times, and transitions.
- Assisting with any additional tasks as directed by the class teacher or school leadership.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
- A passion for supporting the development of children’s learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
