SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time | BH22

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role where you can truly make a difference? We have a fantastic opportunity starting within the next 2–3 weeks at a welcoming primary school in BH22.

The Role:
You will be working 1:1 with a Year 2 child who is non-verbal, providing tailored support to help them access learning, communicate effectively, and thrive both academically and emotionally. This is a highly rewarding position for someone passionate about inclusive education and child development.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous SEN experience, ideally supporting non-verbal children

  • Is confident using or supporting alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS, visual timetables, Makaton)

  • Is patient, nurturing and proactive, with a calm and positive approach

  • Can work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies

  • Is committed to a full-time role and building strong relationships within the school
