Primary SEN Teacher – Waterlooville
Start Date: January 2026 (or as soon as possible)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Are you a dedicated and nurturing teacher with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Primary Teacher to work exclusively with a small group of pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities in our friendly and inclusive primary school in Waterlooville.

You will:

Teach and support a small group of pupils with diverse SEN profiles, including those working significantly below age-related expectations.

Plan and deliver highly differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.

Work closely with our SENCo, support staff, and external professionals to ensure every child’s progress and wellbeing.

Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
About You
We’re looking for a teacher who:

Is passionate about inclusive education and committed to meeting the needs of all learners.

Has experience working with children with SEN (for example, ASD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs).

Can adapt teaching approaches creatively and flexibly.
-
Brings warmth, patience, and a sense of humour to the role.

(ECTs with relevant experience or strong SEN interest are welcome to apply.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
