Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and passionate staff to join our team supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across:
WOKING

We are currently recruiting for:

  • General Primary Teacher
  • English Teacher

Start Date: As soon as vetting is completed
Contract: Flexible roles - long-term, short-term, and permanent opportunities available

About the Schools & Students:

You will be working in supportive, specialist SEN settings that cater for children and young people aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN)
  • ADHD and associated behavioural needs
  • Sensory processing difficulties

About You:

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are:

  • Experienced within Primary Education and hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Flexible and able to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs
  • Able to demonstrate high classroom management skills
  • Eager and driven to deliver the best quality teaching 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where appropriate.
