Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive school in the Southampton area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational journey of our young students and help them build a strong foundation for their future.

Position: Year 1 Teacher

Location: Shirley, Southampton

Working Hours: 8.15am - 15.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

-          Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that foster a love for learning and support the development of essential skills in young children.

-          Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves.

-          Plan and implement a well-structured curriculum aligned with the school's teaching philosophy and standards.

-          Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.

-          Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop a cohesive and inclusive learning community.

-          Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' performance and participate in parents' meetings and school events.

Requirements:

-          Essential: Previous experience teaching in Year 1 or relevant early years education.

-          A valid teaching qualification and relevant certifications.

-          Strong classroom management and communication skills.

-          Passionate about education and committed to the academic and emotional development of young children.

-          Ability to foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students, including those with diverse learning needs.

-          Creative and resourceful in designing interactive and effective learning experiences.
