This outstanding SEN school in Okehampton educates students aged 5–19 with Autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily administrative tasks such as reception duties and responding to enquiries

  • Support attendance tracking, admissions, and maintaining student records

  • Assist the Senior Leadership Team with scheduling and general admin support

  • Coordinate with teaching and support staff to ensure efficient daily operations

  • Maintain accurate data using systems like SIMS or similar

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and manage visitor protocols

  • Help organise school events, meetings, and parent communications

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in administration or a school office environment (preferred)

  • Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills

  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and school MIS systems

  • Friendly and professional with a commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding

  • Able to adapt and remain calm in a busy school environment
