School Administrator – Durham Secondary Schools

Full time temporary position, £90 to £110 per day dependent on experience.

Teaching Personnel is looking for an organised and reliable School Administrator to support secondary schools in Durham on a full time, temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing administrative support to the school office and senior staff
  • Managing day to day tasks such as attendance, reception duties, and data entry
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and enquiries professionally
  • Supporting with pupil records and general school administration
  • Helping maintain a welcoming and efficient school environment

You need:

  • Previous administrative or office experience (school based experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence using IT systems and office software
  • Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently
  • Understanding of safeguarding in a school setting (training provided)
