We have an exciting position available in an incredibly supportive school which prides itself on being collaborative and dynamic.
Location: Birmingham, B36
Hours: Full Time, Term-Time Only, ASAP Start
Rate of Pay: To Scale
The role requires potential candidates to have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- ECTs are encouraged to apply too!
- Recent, relevant experience teaching Religious Studies in a UK secondary school
- Excellent track record and positive school based references
- Strong classroom presence and excellent behaviour management skills
- Fantastic subject and curriculum based knowledge for Religious Studies
- Relevant experience teaching children with special educational needs
You will be expected to:
- Effectively plan and lead a range of engaging religious studies lessons to various year groups and abilities
- Regularly assess pupils' progress and development through various forms of assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department, composing schemes of work and maintaining high academic results
- Contribute to wider school community through engagement in extra curricular activities
- Regularly communicate with parent's and carers regarding pupils' progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
