Religious Education/Humanities Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE / Humanities Teacher to work at a secondary school in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across the Humanities curriculum.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging Religious Education and Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Plan and deliver lessons that encourage critical thinking and discussion.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Has experience teaching RE and/or Humanities in a secondary school setting.

Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
-
Is passionate about inspiring students and improving educational outcomes.
-
Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly within a school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
