Religious Education/Humanities Teacher

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE / Humanities Teacher to work at a secondary school in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive school environment and inspire students across the Humanities curriculum.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging Religious Education and Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Plan and deliver lessons that encourage critical thinking and discussion.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Has experience teaching RE and/or Humanities in a secondary school setting.

• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.

• Is passionate about inspiring students and improving educational outcomes.

• Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly within a school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
