Job Title: KS1 Teacher (Part-Time)
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Salisbury

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable  Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school from September 2026. This part-time role will involve providing consistent general classroom cover across Reception, Years 1 & 2, ensuring high-quality teaching and continuity of learning when class teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Reception, Years 1 &2  based on provided planning.
  • Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour expectations.
  • Ensure pupils remain focused, supported, and motivated during lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to support the learning environment and school ethos.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS)
  • Demonstrate a strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills.
  • Be flexible, reliable, and confident teaching across different KS2 year groups.
  • Be able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (however, one can be applied for through us if required).
  • Previous Reception | KS1 teaching experience is preferred.
  • 2 solid references
  • Complete safeguarding training and add

Pay & Benefits

  • Daily rate: £120 – £140 (depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
