These opportunities are ideal for educators seeking flexible work, whether that be day-to-day supply, short-term placements, or longer-term roles. The work allows you to remain in the classroom while maintaining control over your schedule.

You will support schools by covering lessons and ensuring that pupils continue learning in the absence of their regular teacher. This may involve delivering pre-prepared lessons, supervising classroom activities, and maintaining a positive and well-managed learning environment.

Assignments are available across a variety of local schools, providing valuable experience and the opportunity to build relationships within supportive school communities.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working that allows you to manage your own availability

  • Opportunities for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements

  • Experience across a range of primary school settings

  • Pay rates that reflect experience, role, and qualifications

  • Opportunities suitable for both experienced educators and those building a career in teaching

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS)

  • Experienced Cover Supervisors

  • Graduates or aspiring teachers with relevant classroom or childcare experience

Successful candidates will be confident in managing a classroom, adaptable to different school environments, and committed to supporting pupils’ learning and development.

This is a good opportunity for educators who value flexibility, whether you are balancing other commitments, continuing your studies, or returning to education after time away.

If you would like to work with local primary schools while maintaining a flexible schedule, we would be pleased to hear from you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
