Primary Tutor – Newcastle (NE1)

At TP Tutors, we have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition to pupils in Newcastle (NE1). This role is perfect for educators who want to step away from large classrooms and focus on making a meaningful, individual impact.
What You’ll Be Doing

Planning and delivering engaging, personalised sessions in core subjects

Supporting pupils with varying learning needs, including those with additional or behavioural needs

Using creative strategies to keep children motivated and engaged

Tracking progress and planning next steps to support continued development

Building confidence and fostering a love of learning
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1/KS2)
-
Ability to plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons
-
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
-
Passion for raising attainment and boosting confidence
-
SEN experience desirable (but not essential)
-
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
What You’ll Receive
£25 per hour or above
Monday–Friday (approx. 8:30am–3:30pm)
Around 13 weeks off per year
A dedicated consultant for ongoing support
In-house PAYE payment — no umbrella fees

Based in Newcastle (NE1), easily accessible by public transport and road links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
