At Teaching Personnel, we are expanding our pool of dedicated and adaptable Supply Teachers to support a wide range of welcoming primary schools across the Huntingdonshire area.

Whether you're an ECT building experience, an experienced teacher seeking better work-life balance, or returning to the classroom – we can offer work that fits around you.

 

About the Role

 As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Follow pre-set lesson plans (with occasional opportunity to use your own)
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments
  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Work school hours only (8:30am – 3:30pm)
  • Choose the days you want to work – from 1 to 5 days per week

We offer day-to-day supply, long-term placements and temp-to-perm opportunities.

 

Guaranteed Pay Scheme Available

For qualifying candidates, we offer a Guaranteed Pay Scheme – meaning you’ll be paid even if we’re unable to secure you work on a particular day (subject to criteria).

 

What We’re Looking For

 

To be considered, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Availability of at least 1 day per week
  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All applicants will be subject to our thorough vetting process, including an enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one).
