Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the NP10 area, currently seeking a committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from January. This full-time position offers the chance to inspire a class of eager learners at a crucial stage in their primary journey.

We’re seeking a teacher who is:
A confident communicator, both written and verbal
Energetic and engaging, with a warm, approachable classroom presence
Organised and efficient, with strong planning and time-management skills
Passionate about education and committed to helping every child achieve their best
Aware of safeguarding responsibilities and dedicated to pupil wellbeing
Skilled in behaviour management
Familiar with the Primary Curriculum, particularly Year 6 expectations

Key Responsibilities
Your role will include:
Planning and delivering dynamic, creative lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils
Supporting students’ academic progress and emotional development
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Contributing to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Ensuring adherence to safeguarding and health & safety policies
Using effective behaviour management strategies

Required Documents and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only) registered on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
The legal right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
