Primary PPA Teacher – South Gloucestershire

Contract: Part Time
Pay: £130-£150/day
Location: South Gloucestershire

We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible Primary PPA Teacher to join a welcoming and well‑resourced school in South Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, thrives on building relationships across year groups, and is passionate about delivering high‑quality learning experiences.

The Role

  • Cover a range of classes from EYFS to KS2 during teachers’ PPA time
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons confidently while maintaining high levels of engagement
  • Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs and routines of different age groups
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and support their progress
  • Provide consistency and stability across the school as part of a supportive teaching team

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • A flexible, adaptable and positive approach
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • SEN experience, or a willingness to develop further (an understanding of differentiation, inclusive practice, or SEND strategies will be beneficial across the varied age groups you will teach)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
