PMLD Support Assistant – Secondary SEN School, Burnley
Full-Time | Long-Term | January Start

A welcoming Secondary SEN school in Burnley is looking to appoint a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting in January.

This role is ideal for someone with a calm, patient approach who is confident supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). You will be working closely with teaching staff to deliver personalised support, sensory-based activities, and high-quality care.

What we’re looking for:
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex needs
• Confidence delivering sensory and personalised learning activities
• A compassionate, resilient and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive SEN team

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm
Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
Start Date: January (long-term role)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
