Location: Poole, Dorset
Hours: Full time
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right person
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Poole who are seeking a dedicated PETeacher to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about inspiring young people and helping them achieve their best in PE.

The Role:

Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.

Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in departmental meetings, enrichment activities and pastoral support.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a love of learning and improve pupil progress.
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS (applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed).

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Physical Education.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
