Upper KS2 Class Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: Wells
Days: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | For the academic year
Salary: Paid to Scale | M1-M6
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a large, well-established 3-form entry primary school in Wells. This is a part-time role, working three days per week (Monday to Wednesday), offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and dynamic school environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within Upper KS2, supporting pupils as they prepare for the important transition to secondary school. The role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, contributing to SATs preparation, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous teaching experience within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
- Experience supporting pupils through SATs preparation
- An understanding of the transition process from primary to secondary education
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
- A hardworking, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for teaching
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
