Nursery Teaching Assistant – NP12 Area
Start Date: April 2026
Pay: From £92.95 per day
Location: NP12 and surrounding areas
Are you passionate about supporting early years learning? Do you enjoy helping young children grow, learn, and explore the world around them? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistants to join friendly and nurturing early years settings in the NP12 area.
✅ About the Role
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering fun and engaging early years activities.
- Help create a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist with play-based learning, outdoor activities, and small‑group work.
- Provide emotional and developmental support to children aged 3–5.
- Contribute to the daily running of the nursery and promote positive behaviour.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from:
- Experienced early years practitioners
- Teaching assistants
- Nursery assistants
- Individuals with relevant childcare qualifications (Level 2/3 desirable)
- Candidates with a passion for early childhood education
You should be:
- Caring, patient, and proactive
- Able to build positive relationships with children and staff
- A strong communicator with a warm, engaging personality

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
