Job description

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teachers to work in schools across Hastings. We are looking for fully qualified teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging language lessons and inspiring students to develop their linguistic skills.

Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey or an experienced educator seeking your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Teach one or more languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German)

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

  • Contribute to the wider school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • A degree in a relevant subject area

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
