Year 4 Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: Maidenhead
Start Date: February 2026
Duration: Until the end of the Summer Term
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Maidenhead to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in February and running through to the end of the summer term.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher seeking a short-term role with limited planning requirements, as the school offers strong support and shared resources. The role would suit an ECT, experienced teacher, or someone returning to the classroom.

The Role:

  • Full-time Year 4 class teacher

  • Maternity cover from February to Summer Term

  • Limited planning required with schemes of work and support provided

  • Working within a supportive and collaborative school environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)

  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4

  • Is confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
