Teaching Assistant Opportunity – CF11 – Starting January !

A friendly and welcoming primary school in the CF11 area is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team from January, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.

This is a long-term role until the end of the academic year, with a strong potential to continue beyond for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who has experience with children in any setting – this could include:

• Previous Teaching Assistant work
• Scouts / Cubs / Guides / youth groups
• Sports coaching or swimming instruction
• Dance teaching or activity leading

If you’re confident supporting pupils with interventions, enjoy being hands-on, and are eager to learn and grow within a school environment, then you’ll fit in beautifully here. The school is incredibly supportive and offers plenty of opportunity for development.

•  Days: Tuesday – Thursday
• Year group: Year 1
•  Pay: £89.38 per day (paid every Friday)
•  Start: January
•  Long-term until end of the academic year (with potential to continue)

Requirements:

• DBS on the Update Service (we can help if you don’t have this)
• EWC registration (we can support you with this too)
• Safeguarding training (we can also provide this)
