Are you an enthusiastic, inspiring learning support assistant looking for a new role?

Do you have experience supporting individuals with special needs (SEN)?

We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants to join a friendly, enthusiastic and committed team.  The successful applicants will be working with pupils with a variety of complex needs including SLD/PMLD and ASD (Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Autism). 

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant in a special school. You must have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and support them in their social, emotional and personal wellbeing.  Part of this role may involve working as a 1:1 with individual pupils.

Whilst we are currently looking for candidates with full time availability, we are able to support with part time positions and supply work.

The school is not easily accessed by public transport so it is essential you have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
