KS1 & KS2 Teachers – Dorset (After February Half Term)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated KS1 and KS2 Teachers to work within mainstream primary schools across Dorset, including Ferndown, Bournemouth, Poole, Ringwood and Christchurch, starting after February half term.

These roles are available on a part-time or full-time basis and will run through to July, with the opportunity for a permanent contract depending on performance and suitability. Successful candidates will be placed through Teaching Personnel and fully supported from registration through to placement and beyond.

About the role:

  • Teaching KS1 or KS2 within welcoming mainstream primary schools

  • Working alongside a qualified Teaching Assistant, providing whole-class, small group and 1:1 support

  • No planning required – all lesson plans and resources are provided

  • Opportunities to gain experience across a range of school settings

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have recent classroom experience in KS1 and/or KS2

  • Be available to start after February half term

  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Have excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum

  • Be engaging, adaptable and able to motivate pupils

  • Have their own means of transport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
