KS2 Primary Teacher – Full-Time Supply
Location: Hull
Pay: £140 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time Supply
We are currently seeking a confident, motivated, and adaptable KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hull on a full-time supply basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy the flexibility of supply work while benefiting from the consistency of a long-term placement. Whether you are an experienced classroom practitioner, an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop your skills, or a teacher returning to the profession, this position provides a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a positive school community.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for KS2.

Confidently follow pre-planned schemes of work while adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment with clear behaviour expectations.

Assess learning informally and provide constructive feedback to support pupil development.
What We’re Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
-
Recent experience teaching across Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6).

Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the KS2 curriculum.

Effective classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage pupils.

A flexible, reliable, and professional approach — essential for supply teaching.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one prior to starting work.
