Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Implement strategies to help students improve academic performance and social skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working with KS2 students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN Code of Practise
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
- Training in specific SEN interventions or therapies
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
- Work primarily in a school OR home environment
- May require travel to different school locations within the region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
