Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, committed to fostering a positive learning environment, and skilled in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for KS1.

• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages pupil engagement and learning.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the academic and personal development of pupils.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

• Uphold the school’s values, policies, and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting is desirable but not essential for newly qualified teachers (NQTs).

• Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
