Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our dynamic team of teaching staff. As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners aged 5 to 7 years old. Your passion for teaching and dedication to student development will be key in creating a positive and engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, catering to the needs of all pupils.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where each child feels valued and supported in their learning journey.
  • Utilise a range of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and encourage independent thinking.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to aid their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and progressive curriculum, promoting a seamless transition for students.
  • Engage parents and carers in the education process, maintaining open communication and involving them in their child's progress.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes in the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
