KS1 Teacher

Start Date: Monday 1^st June 2026
Salary: £120 - £150 per day and then in line with the M-Scale of the role

About the Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundations of children’s learning, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Tracking and assessing pupils’ progress to support continued development
• Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support each child's individual needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative school culture

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching in KS1 (although strong ECT applications are welcome)
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
• Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a child‑centred approach
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to inclusion, high standards, and ongoing professional development
