Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher with a passion for supporting young learners in their crucial early years? We are seeking a motivated KS1 Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive school community.

Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: Monday 1st June 2026
Salary: £120 - £150 per day and then in line with the M-Scale of the role
About the Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundations of children’s learning, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Tracking and assessing pupils’ progress to support continued development
- Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support each child's individual needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative school culture
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching in KS1 (although strong ECT applications are welcome)
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a child‑centred approach
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to inclusion, high standards, and ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
