Location: Cambridgeshire

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £32,916 – £51,047 annually (actual) + TLR 2B

 

Are you an ambitious and passionate Geographer ready to build a department from the ground up? We are seeking an exceptional Head of Geography to lead the creation of an academically rigorous, knowledge‑rich Geography curriculum within a growing secondary environment.

As Head of Geography, you will:

  • Design and lead a coherent, knowledge-rich Geography curriculum.
  • Ensure students develop secure substantive and disciplinary geographical knowledge.

  • Shape the long‑term vision, ethos, and identity of Geography within the school.
  • Mentor and support new colleagues, building a confident, expert department as the school grows.
