Salary: £32,916 – £51,047 annually (actual) + TLR 2B

As Head of Computer Science, you will:

  • Design and implement a rigorous, knowledge-rich curriculum for Computer Science.
  • Establish the long-term vision, identity, and academic standards of the department.
  • Teach both Computer Science and high-quality Maths as part of your teaching load.
  • Model strong practice in teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Lead the development of high-quality resources, enrichment, and extracurricular opportunities (e.g., coding clubs, competitions, industry links).
  • Mentor colleagues and support the future growth of a cohesive, expert team.
  • Shape recruitment, induction, and long-term development of new staff as the school expands.
