The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and inspiring Geography Teacher to join our thriving Humanities department. You will play a key role in helping students develop a deep understanding of places, cultures, people, and global issues—encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for the world we share.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well‑structured Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and adapt lessons to challenge, support, and motivate students of mixed abilities.
- Prepare students for GCSE assessment through high‑quality teaching, feedback, and targeted intervention.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work within the Humanities department.
- Promote a positive classroom environment that reflects the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
- Participate in fieldwork, enrichment activities, and cross‑curricular projects supporting personal development.

- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography and global learning.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A reflective, proactive approach and commitment to ongoing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
