Are you an inspiring Geography Teacher ready to bring the world into the classroom? A thriving and inclusive secondary school in London Borough of Brent is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience. The Role
• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that stretch and challenge all learners
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations with a strong focus on progress and outcomes
• Use data effectively to inform planning and intervention
• Contribute to the wider Humanities curriculum and enrichment activities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with whole school policy
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has a strong subject knowledge of physical and human geography
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Has a track record of improving student attainment
• Is committed to inclusion and raising aspirations for all pupils
• Works collaboratively within a team environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
