Teacher of Food Technology – Secondary School (Darwen, Lancashire)
Contract: April 2026 – July 2026
Location: Darwen, Lancashire
Position: Temporary / Full-time

Are you a passionate and creative Food Technology teacher looking to inspire the next generation of young chefs, innovators, and confident learners? Our thriving secondary school in Darwen is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology specialist to join our team for a fixed-term contract from April 2026 to July 2026.

About the Role:
We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will bring the subject to life through practical, well-organised activities and will encourage students to develop valuable skills in nutrition, food preparation, and healthy living.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in Food Technology
  • Strong classroom management and a commitment to high standards
  • The ability to plan and deliver creative, inspiring lessons
