Primary Supply Teachers – Wigan
ECTs & Experienced Teachers Encouraged to Apply
Start: After Easter, Flexible Full-Time & Part-Time Work
Looking for a more flexible approach to teaching? We are partnered with a number of friendly and well-supported primary schools across Wigan who are looking to expand their pool of reliable supply teachers for the summer term.
This is a great opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals who want to gain exposure to different school environments while maintaining control over their working schedule.
What the role will involve:
- Covering lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 using provided planning.
- Creating a calm, engaging classroom environment.
- Responding confidently to different school routines and expectations.
- Providing brief handovers or feedback to class teachers.
- Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times.
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Hold QTS and have recent classroom experience.
- Are confident, adaptable, and proactive in new settings.
- Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff.
- Have strong behaviour management and organisational skills.
- Are passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
