Are you a passionate Religious Education teacher looking for flexible work while exploring your next long-term opportunity?

We are working closely with several secondary schools across Bristol that are looking for enthusiastic RE teachers. Whether you’re seeking short-term flexible teaching, a longer-term placement, or support finding the right permanent position, we can help connect you with schools that match your preferences and career goals.

This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience, as well as experienced teachers interested in exploring new school environments.

Responsibilities (Long-Term / Permanent Roles)

  • Deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Encourage students to explore different beliefs, values, and worldviews

  • Foster respectful discussion and critical thinking within the classroom

  • Adapt lessons to support a range of learning needs, including SEND

  • Monitor student progress and support their academic development


Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS

  • Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education

  • The ability to manage a classroom effectively

  • A passion for encouraging open-minded discussion and learning

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
