Are you a creative and passionate Drama teacher looking for flexible work while considering your next long-term role?
We’re currently working with a number of secondary schools in Bristol that are seeking enthusiastic Drama teachers. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply work, a long-term teaching placement, or support in finding a permanent role, we can help connect you with the right opportunities.
This role would suit Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build experience in different schools, as well as experienced teachers interested in exploring new environments.

Key Responsibilities (Long-Term / Permanent Roles)

Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
-
Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills

Support students in exploring different theatrical techniques and styles
-
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, including SEND
-
Contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities where possible
Ideal Candidates Will Have
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
-
Strong subject knowledge in Drama or Performing Arts
-
Effective classroom management and communication skills
-
A passion for inspiring creativity and confidence in students

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
