We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity to support young learners in a nurturing environment, helping them develop the foundations for lifelong learning.
Location: Padiham
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 pre hour
Start Date: January 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Support children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery).
- A relevant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
