English Teacher

Job description

We are currently seeking an English Teacher to start work on a full time basis at one of our local schools in Bournemouth.

The school is a Special Needs School and caters for pupils with Autism and Aspergers.

The successful candidate must:

  • hold QTS
  • be enthusiastic and positive
  • be resilient
  • be confident working with students with SEN/challenging behaviour

 

To be successful in this role it is desirable if you:

  • have experience working within a school setting 
  • have experience working with children and/or adults with SEN
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the role of an English Teacher
  • Be willing to cover other subjects when required 
  • Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and support them in their social, emotional and personal wellbeing

This is a temporary long term role however, there is opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
