English Teacher

We are currently working closely with a school in the Penzance area who is looking for an English Teacher for a flexible supply basis after Easter.  

About the Role

• Deliver engaging English lessons in line with the curriculum whilst also tailoring them to students needs
• Plan, prepare and assess work
• Build positive, trusting relationships with learners
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, SLT etc
• Contribute to individual support plans and behaviour strategies

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience working with students with SEMH, SEN, additional needs
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Have high expectations while maintaining a nurturing and flexible approach
• Have the ability to plan engaging lessons

Essential Skills & Personal Qualities:

• Strong behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
