Job description

Teaching Personnel is working with working with a welcoming secondary school on the East side of Birmingham who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher from January. This is a long-term position with the potential to continue for the remainder of the academic year.

The school has a supportive leadership team, well-resourced departments and a genuine commitment to helping new staff settle in. They’re ideally looking for someone who can bring energy to the classroom and maintain high expectations while building positive relationships with students.

Location & Travel
The school is well placed for teachers travelling from Coventry, central Birmingham and the surrounding areas. It sits close to motorway links close to the M6, making the journey straightforward for those commuting by car.

What the school is looking for:

  • A qualified English Teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)

  • Someone confident teaching KS3 and KS4

  • Strong classroom management and a proactive approach

  • A teacher who enjoys working as part of a collaborative department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
