Teacher of Design & Technology (Engineering Specialism Preferred)
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: Ideally Monday 13th April
Contract Type: Temporary with strong potential to become permanent

A thriving mainstream secondary school in Blackburn is seeking a dynamic Teacher of Design & Technology, ideally with an Engineering specialism, to join their high-performing department from Monday 13th April.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified DT Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Bring specialist knowledge in Engineering, or strong DT expertise with willingness to focus on Engineering
- Deliver engaging, practical lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring the next generation of designers and engineers
- Play an active role in the wider school community
Contract Information:
This position will begin on a full-time temporary basis, with genuine potential for the role to transition into a permanent contract for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
