The school need someone with experience of working in Early Years or with children aged 2-5 years in the last 12 months, so that they can be trusted to get going in the role straight away without any training. This would involve experience with phonics programmes, particularly Jolly Phonics (which the school uses), as well as guided play. There are also some children in the class with Special Educational needs and although there are a number of assistants in the class, experience of working with Special needs would also go a long way for the school.
