Early Years Teacher – Exmouth

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our welcoming team in Exmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to supporting young children at the start of their learning journey.

About the Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development across all areas of learning, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Observe, assess, and track children’s progress to support their development

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs

  • Promote children’s wellbeing, safeguarding, and positive behaviour

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant Early Years qualification

  • Experience working within Early Years or EYFS settings

  • A nurturing, creative, and patient approach to teaching

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
