Design & Technology Teacher – Secondary – Weymouth

Start Date: After Easter 2026
Contract: Full-time, long‑term (potential permanent)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Location: Weymouth, Dorset

Are you a passionate and innovative Design & Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and high‑achieving secondary school in Weymouth is seeking a committed D&T specialist to join their team after the Easter break.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Deliver engaging lessons across specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering (flexible depending on your strengths)
  • Inspire creativity while maintaining high standards of learning and achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development within a supportive department
  • Actively participate in the wider school community
