An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Computer Science to join our supportive and driven secondary school team in MK10.

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated teacher who:

Has a genuine passion for Computer Science and digital technologies
-
Delivers innovative, engaging, and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3–5
-
Is keen to contribute to the development of an ambitious and evolving curriculum
-
Has the drive to raise attainment and progress for all students
-
Is committed to promoting participation in extracurricular opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics, esports, cyber challenges, or STEM initiatives
The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to achieving excellent outcomes and fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills in our students.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject

PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Strong subject knowledge across Computer Science and programming
-
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
-
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable:
-
Experience teaching GCSE and/or A Level Computer Science
-
Experience delivering programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
-
Involvement in extracurricular STEM or technology-based activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
